Welcome to my website! My name is Alexis Conkling and I am a Makeup Artist with over five years experience including an apprenticeship with Shannon Mercil. I enjoy doing makeup for fashion shows and photoshoots but I look forward to every summer so I can work with brides to make them feel beautiful on their big day!
I grew up always loving makeup and wanting to have a career in the beauty industry. I was one signature away from attending a Paul Mitchell Cosmetology school but decided to put my beauty dreams on hold because I had just met my future husband. I happily became a full time Mother instead. Years later I would meet my sister-in-law and fellow Makeup Artist, Shannon Mercil and finally fulfill my dreams.
I have a passion for the latest trends and love trying new techniques that will enhance a woman’s natural beauty.
I am constantly watching the latest Pinterest Pins and absorbing ideas from fellow Instagram Make-up Artists.
I enjoy my busy life of being a wife to my best friend and the most amazing man ever and a mother to two energetic and loving boys. I also find time for my hobbies of gardening, cooking and photography.
